Switzerland - Lugano - March 1970

 Pennie drooling at shop windows.  You'd have to be careful how to say your name in an English speaking country,  if you were the owner of this shop.

It rained and rained while we were in Lugano.

This Swissminiature village just fascinated me, I could have pottered around here all day if it wasn't for the rain.

Switzerland - Montreux through the St Bernard Tunnel - Italy - March 1970

 Tabitha Taxi crossing a bridge somewhere between Martigny and the St Bernard Tunnel, I can't find it anywhere on Google today.

I found this same house though, just after Martigny.

Google didn't go through the St Bernard Tunnel but I did find some of it from the outside.

Some of the places Google went in these Swiss Alps were so foggy they probably gave up and went home, you can't see a thing even though they did the mapping in Summer by the look of most of the scenes.

Switzerland - Lausanne to Montreux - March 1970

 Ferry Pier at Montreux, that's me on the right.

 The Steam Paddle Ferry, Montreux, these sorts of ferries are still running, there are photos of heaps of them on Google.

Montreux from up in the mountains, as you can tell it was very very foggy while we were there.
