Well here is a Revelation ... Not only did we go to Poldsen Lacey to see a play on Thursday 17th of July...

... On Friday the 18th of July we were in Chichester (about one hour from Merrow) seeing another Play.

 I don't know why we took this photo above, maybe because it was such a new and modern Theatre!

How lucky were we... Tamara Ustinov, Alistair Sim and Patricia Routledge... I remember enjoying this play very much, Alistair Sim was in almost every Black and White movie I'd ever seen so it was a thrill to see him on stage... but wait... there's more...

Polesden Lacey - 17.7.1969 - Picnic Dinner before Shakespeare.

How absolutely delightful this scene below looks, and it was I remember it well, that beautiful British Twilight... just wonderful!

Can't say any of the cast look familiar, maybe it was the local dramatic society perhaps, big cast though!  I think they still hold Open Air plays here... bit hard to find out.
